Because health is a precious welfare, the Public University Hospital of Marseille (AP-HM) professionals provide a service for everyone, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
They care for all patients regardless of their level of income, including people in a very tenuous position.
Each year, our emergency units welcome more than 200,000 patients, both children and adults.

In order to fight against social inequalities in health and facilitate access to care, our teams are developing prevention and health education measures outside the walls, such as the new Health Center located in the northern districts of Marseille.

All about emergency services 
In case of vital emergency anywhere in Marseille and the Bouches-du-Rhône district, the Emergency medical help service (SAMU) cares for any sick, wounded person or parturient. Dial “15”. 
The Psychiatric Precariousness Team (MARSS) works in the street with homeless patients with mental disorders. 
The PASS (Permanence of Access to Health Care) were created to accompany persons in a precarious situation in the steps necessary to the recognition of their rights, in particularly as regards social security coverage. 
Specifically trained AP-HM teams offer custom-made therapeutic education programs.
